Djakadam heads a small but select field of five in Sunday's John Durkan Memorial Chase at Punchestown.

The Willie Mullins-trained chaser is still only a seven-year-old, yet is bidding for a repeat win in this Grade One and has twice finished second in the Cheltenham Gold Cup. He will have the assistance of Ruby Walsh in the saddle.

Mullins also fields two others in the feature chase in Alelchi Inois, second in the Galway Plate and a rather fortunate winner of the Clonmel Oil Chase, and Black Hercules.

Black Hercules has not been seen since winning the JLT Novices' Chase at Cheltenham in March.

Outlander, formerly trained by Mullins but now with Gordon Elliott, looked set to win the Clonmel Oil when falling at the last and gets another chance to confirm that impression.

The field is completed by Henry de Bromhead's Sub Lieutenant, impressive in winning his last two starts at Limerick and Down Royal. Bryan Cooper has opted to ride him over Outlander.
