Stallion Book Snippets: The son of Sea The Stars has quickly risen to become one of the most in-demand middle-distance stallions in the middle market thanks to those stakes performers, who are among 83 winners of 169 races and more than £3.4 million in prize-money from his first three crops.

Sea The Moon’s standout runner to date is Alpine Star, the impressive winner of the Coronation Stakes and runner-up in the Prix de Diane, Prix Jacques le Marois and Prix de l’Opera in 2020.

His other colour bearers include Quest The Moon, winner of the Group 2 Grosser Preis der Badischen Wirtschaft and runner-up in the Grosser Dallmayr Preis, and Wonderful Moon, successful in the Group 2 Union-Rennen.

Sea The Moon was always bred for success, being out of Sanwa, an unraced Monsun full-sister to German Classic winners Salve Regina, Samum and Schiaparelli.

He will stand at Lanwades Stud at a fee of £22,500 in 2021.
