Whitsbury Manor Stud flagbearer Showcasing is the only stallion to have supplied two Commonwealth Cup winners

The son of Oasis Dream was responsible for the 2016 scorer Quiet Reflection, who was sold for 2,100,000gns as a broodmare prospect at the end of her racing career, and the 2019 winner Advertise, who is standing his third season at the National Stud next year.

The influential Showcasing has delivered a third Group 1 winner in the shape of last year’s Sussex Stakes hero Mohaather, who stands at Nunnery Stud. Mohaather and Advertise are among five sons of their sire at stud, along with Cappella Sansevero, Soldier’s Call and Tasleet.

Showcasing has supplied 54 stakes winners in total, including this season’s Richmond Stakes victor Asymmetric and Prix Maurice de Gheest runner-up Tropbeau.

He is standing his 12th consecutive season at Whitsbury Manor Stud next year at a fee of £45,000.
