The son of Tagula was an outstanding miler for Richard Hannon snr and later stood at Coolmore with some success, before being sold to stand in South Africa in 2017.

Cliff Top, from the sire’s debut South African-conceived crop, won the first juvenile stakes race of the season, the East Cape Nursery at Fairview, while Rock The Fox, a filly from that same generation, finished a nose second in the prestigious Group 1 Thekwini Stakes.

His next crop of South African yearlings have subsequently proved incredibly popular, achieving a top price of the equivalent of £550,000.
