The beautifully bred son of Dubawi and Zarkava delivers quality as well as quantity, with 15 black-type performers among his first two crops including Prix de Sandringham winner Purplepay and Classic-placed fillies La Parisienne and Times Square.

The market has been quick to react, with his third crop of yearlings – still bred off his introductory covering fee of €12,000 – selling for prices of €200,000, €180,000, €160,000 and so on.

His daughters have also been lighting up the breeding-stock sales, with Purplepay making €2 million at Arqana in December 2021 and Times Square selling for €1.25m at the same venue this year.

Zarak will stand at an increased covering fee of €60,000 in 2023.
