Kingman was the leading northern-hemisphere based sire of three-year-old stakes winners in 2023.

The Banstead Manor Stud-based son of Invincible Spirit put 15 on the board, more than Frankel and Into Mischief on 13 and Galileo on ten.

His standout three-year-olds were Group 1 winners Feed The Flame and Sauterne, and Group 3 scorers Age Of Kings, Epictetus and Remarquee.

Kingman supplied 27 individual stakes winners this year overall, and he is the second fastest stallion to have reached 50 northern hemisphere-bred stakes winners, behind only his world-renowned studmate Frankel.

His 2023 yearling average stands at more than £340,000, hitting a high of 900,000gns paid by Oliver St Lawrence for his half-brother to St James’s Palace Stakes hero Without Parole at Tattersalls October Book 1.
