Mishriff, a Classic winner and world champion older horse, is kicking off his stallion career at Sumbe in Normandy in 2024 after a year's delay.

The son of Make Believe retired to France last year and was raring to go in the winter, but managed to kick a wall in his box and fractured his pedal bone. He is now fully recovered, though, and has been impressing visitors in shows.

Mishriff was a ten-length maiden winner at two and stormed to victory in the Prix du Jockey Club and Prix Guillaume d’Ornano at three. He defeated Japanese star Chrono Genesis to score in the Dubai Sheema Classic at the start of his four-year-old season and a few months later struck by six lengths in the Juddmonte International.

He hails from the increasingly influential Dubawi sire line and is a member of the stallion-making family of Invincible Spirit and Kodiac.

His debut fee under the Sumbe banner has been set at €17,500.
