Leading RSA Chase contender More Of That is to sidestep the Betfred TV Scilly Isles Novices' Chase at Sandown on Saturday with regular rider Barry Geraghty on duty in Ireland.

Geraghty is retained jockey to More Of That's owner JP McManus, who will have a number of major runners in his famous green and gold silks on Irish Gold Cup day at Leopardstown.

Options at Kempton and Newbury will now be considered for the former World Hurdle hero, who has returned to action in style over fences, winning both his starts at Cheltenham.

Frank Berry, racing manager to McManus, said: "That (missing Sandown) is likely to be the case, it's a big day in Leopardstown and we will have a good few runners there, so Barry will stay in Ireland.

"Jonjo is pretty keen he stays on More Of That and he'll either go to Newbury or Kempton the following week, one of those, he has a few choices upcoming.

"We couldn't be happier with him, it's just the two days clashing is not ideal."

More Of That was one of 14 entries for the Grade One event at the Esher track, with champion trainer Willie Mullins responsible for five possible runners.

National Hunt Chase favourite Black Hercules is joined by stable companions Pont Alexandre, Outlander, Mckinley and Pleasant Company.

Mullins won the prize won the prize 12 months ago with one of his relatively lesser lights in Gitane Du Berlais.

Other contenders in a potentially fascinating contest include the Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained Bristol De Mai, Nick Williams' Feltham Novices' Chase winner Tea For Two and Harry Fry's mare Bitofapuzzle.
