Apprentice Keelan Baker appears to have escaped serious injury following a fall at Wolverhampton on Tuesday evening.

Baker was unseated from the Bernard Llewellyn-trained Let Me In in the Betway Live Casino Handicap and it was feared he may have broken his leg.

He was treated on the track before being taken to New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton for further examination.

Llewellyn said: "He's not broken his leg. It's stiff and he's still in hospital and having treatment on it.

"I've not been told how long he'll remain in hospital. Hopefully he'll be OK and won't be out for too long. It was unfortunate what happened."
