Evan Williams is considering a crack at the Sky Bet Chase at Doncaster on January 30 for his consistent performer Buywise.
The Llancarfan trainer feels the South Yorkshire circuit would be ideal for the nine-year-old, who finished second in the Paddy Power Gold Cup and fourth in the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup at Cheltenham on his last two starts.
The BetBright Chase at Kempton on February 27 or a run over hurdles are other possibilities for Buywise.
Williams said: "We'll play it by ear, I'd like to run him somewhere in the next month or so.
"I think the track at Doncaster would suit him which is why I've got that race in my mind.
"Otherwise he might go for the old Racing Plus Chase at Kempton as it dries out well there, too."
