Neil King is eyeing the "40 Years of Keltbray" Holloway´s Handicap Hurdle at Ascot on January 23 for Lil Rockerfeller.

The consistent five-year-old has continued progressing this season, running well at Cheltenham and Huntingdon before winning at Sandown.

Last time out he was second to Camping Ground in the Relkeel Hurdle, in which Triumph Hurdle runner-up Top Notch finished fifth.

"At the moment, we are looking at a £50,000 handicap at Ascot in a couple of weeks," said King.

"The trip of two and a half miles suits him well and he's won at Ascot before.

"He'll have an entry in the World Hurdle and probably the Coral Cup, too, but I think what we'll do is go to Ascot and then look at the National Spirit (Fontwell).

"If he ran in the World Hurdle he could run a blinder and finish fourth but where's the joy in that?

"He's very versatile with regards to the ground and a stiff finish suits him well.

"He's a very exciting prospect."

Stablemate Zeroeshadesofgrey holds an entry in a Pertemps qualifier at Warwick on Saturday but King said it was unlikely he would run.
