Today's meeting at Newcastle has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.
Clerk of the course James Armstrong inspected the track at 8am after further rain over the weekend had left the course waterlogged in places.
Despite a dry night, the situation had not improved and the meeting has been cancelled.
