Goffs UK Aintree Sale

The inaugural Goffs UK Aintree Sale made an exceptional debut in the sale ring last April, achieving a sale average of over £100,000, and graduates are now turning heads on the track as they build up to the Cheltenham Festival next week.

From a boutique sale of 21 horses sold, the sale has already seen almost half its graduates win under rules with nine horses successful thus far, meaning the Aintree Sale is 2016’s most successful spring NH Festival Sale for subsequent race winners.

Further, of the 18 graduates that have raced under rules since being sold at last year’s sale, an impressive 16 have won or placed. Some of the graduates include:
•    CONSTANTINE BAY – trained by Nicky Henderson and a Gr.2 winner over Hurdles. Entered in the Gr.1 Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
•    SAMCRO – trained by Gordon Elliott and an unbeaten Listed Bumper winner.
•    Carter McKay – trained by Willie Mullins and the unbeaten winner of two Bumpers. Entered in the Gr.1 Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival.
•    Solighoster – trained by Neil Mulholland and won a Bumper on his racetrack debut and is unbeaten from his two Hurdle starts. Entered in the Gr.1 Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
•    Sumkindofking – trained by Tom George and a Bumper and Hurdle winner. Entered in the Gr.3 Coral Cup Handicap Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

The 2017 Aintree Sale will be held after racing on the opening day of the Randox Health Grand National Festival on Thursday 6 April. To nominate your horses for the sale, nominate online here or contact the Goffs UK team on +44 (0)1450 372222.
