Katar out to emulate half-sister in 2022 Weatherbys Super Sprint
Katar could bid to emulate his half-sister, 2018 Weatherbys Super Sprint winner Ginger Nut (pictured), in this year’s race.
The Kessaar colt is trained by Craig Lidster, having been purchased by SYPS for £55,000 at the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale. The entries also include Sweet Idea, a Charm Spirit half-sister to 2020 Super Sprint runner-up Jojo Rabbit with Tom Ward, and an unnamed half-brother to 2019 third Mighty Spirit in the care of David Evans.
