Approximately 60 Supplementary Entries have been taken for next week’s Spring HIT Sale (Wednesday 18 & Thursday 19 May) and their pedigrees can be viewed online along with P2P.ie race comments and replays for selected lots.

Wednesday’s P2P/Select Form Horse day has been bolstered by the addition of over 30 horses with excellent recent form on the track.

The highlights include Michael Goff’s 4yo son of Martaline, Espoir de Teillee (351 - pictured above), who was travelling well and in command when falling at the final fence on his debut Point-to-Point at Athlacca (Div I) on 7 May, a track which boasts graduates such as three time Gr.1 winner Gods Own & dual Gr.1 winner Al Ferof. The gelding is one of the most highly regarded 4yos to have run this season in what was a highly competitive Maiden.

The Colin Bowe trained Slanelough (352) finished second in the same Maiden Point-to-Point, making a big impression with his run in what was clearly a high class race. The son of Westerner is out of a sister to the Gr.3 placed Tango Knight. Two further late entries from Bowe’s Milestone Stables include the John Nallen owned Minella Warrior (355), a three parts brother to Menorah who was beaten only 1¾ lengths into second place on his first and only run, also at Athlacca (Div II), and Mere Detail (364), a 4yo who won a Maiden Point-to-Point at Curraheen on 1 May and is a sister to Gr.2 winner Real Steel & Gr.3 placed Grangeclare Gold.

Other smart performers travelling from Ireland include Maiden Point-to-Point winners Glen Rocco (354 - Paul Cashman), Ravenhill Road (363 - Stuart Crawford) who was a 15 length debut winner and a 9 strong draft from Sean & Donnchadh Doyle’s Monbeg Stables featuring Calino D’Airy (353) & Spiritofthegames (362). Denis Murphy has also added to his existing draft with Tree Of Liberty (365) who has been second twice from two starts in 4yo Maiden Point-to-Points.

These highly regarded entries will be offered alongside some promising Point-to-Pointers that already feature in the main catalogue including winners Next Level (292) from Tom Keating, Nomoreblackjack (343) from Kieran Purcell, Shark Saurez (287) from John Hanlon, The Wise One (296) from Willie Codd and 4yo Zolfo (312) from Vincent Halley who was second on his only start to date.

Bumper performers which have been added include Lieutenant Gruber (369) who won by 10 lengths at Carlisle for Henry Daly, Creep Desbois (367) who scored in good style on his debut at Plumpton for Oliver Sherwood and Lagavara (372) & Uncle Percy (377) who have both placed on their only Bumper starts to date.

29 extra lots have been added to Thursday’s sale and these include winners from Barry Connell, Brian Ellison, Dan Skelton, David Dennis, Dianne Sayer, Keith Reveley, Malcolm Jefferson, Philip Hobbs, Stuart Crawford, Venetia Williams, Warren Greatrex etc.
