Australia colt tops Day 1 of Goffs Autumn Yearling Sale

Day 1 of the two day Goffs Autumn Yearling Sale was topped by Lot 163 (pictured), a good looking son of Australia consigned by Shanaville Stables and knocked down to Margaret O’Toole for €52,000.

The next highest lot today was a Showcasing filly from Nafferty Stud (Lot 244) that sold to BBA Ireland for €45,000, while earlier a Dragon Pulse colt consigned by Cross Stables, Lot 238, was bought by Shawn Dugan for €35,000.

The Autumn Yearling Sale continues at 10am today, and will be followed on Wednesday with the Horses In Training that will begin at 12 noon.
