A son of No Nay Never (Lot 157 - pictured) topped the opening day of Goffs November Foal Sale when selling to Pier House Stud for €125,000.  Bred by Audrey Thompson and consigned by Kilmore Stud, the colt is out of a winning Oasis Dream daughter of Group 1 Nunthorpe Stakes winner Lochangel.

A colt from the first crop of Kodi Bear took second billing on Day 1 when the Awbeg Stud consigned Lot 130 sold to Rathbarry Stud for €66,000.  Another standout today was a Footstepsinthesand half-sister to dual Listed placed 2yo Inverleigh out of a sister to German Group 1 winner Ransom O’War.  The filly (Lot 73) was bought by Tally Ho Stud for €62,000.  Tally Ho were the day’s leading buyers and among their other purchases was a Kodiac filly (Lot 182) from Milltown House Stud bought for €58,000.

Part 1 of the November Foal Sale continues today and Wednesday.  This will be followed by the November Breeding Stock Sale on Thursday and Friday, with Part 2 of the Foal Sale taking place on Saturday.  The sale begins at 10am each day.
