Goffs Horses In Training and Open Yearling Sale extended to two days

Increased demand for places at the Goffs Horses In Training & Open Yearling Sale has seen the sale extended from one to two days, with Horses In Training to be offered for sale on Wednesday 2nd November followed by a full day of yearlings on Thursday 3rd November.

150 horses in training will be catalogued and include an impressive 19-lot draft from The Aga Khan Studs as well as strong representations from Irish trainers Jim Bolger, Dermot Weld, Michael O’Callaghan, Joseph O’Brien, Jessica Harrington, Johnny Murtagh, Ger Lyons, John Oxx, Johnny Levins and many more.  Particular highlights include the Group 1 winner Loch Garman (pictured) by Teofilo, winner of the Group 1 Criterium International at two; Flight Risk, winner of the Group 3 Gladness Stakes last year and Group placed this year; Grand Coalition, a Stakes placed 2yo son of Kodiac who also finished fourth in the Group 1 Phoenix Stakes this year; Embiran, a three year old colt by Shamardal who was Listed placed this year; and Radanpour by Sea The Stars, a Listed winning colt at 4 in 2016.  A limited number of HIT wild cards will be accepted until closer to the sale.

216 yearlings are catalogued by sires including Acclamation, Dandy Many, Dragon Pulse, Fast Company, Fastnet Rock, Kendargent, Kodiac, Lawman, Lope De Vega, Pivotal, Ravens Pass, Sir Prancealot, Zoffany etc.

The horses in training section will begin at 2.30pm on Wednesday 2nd November and the yearlings will get underway at 10am on Thursday 3rd November.

The catalogue will be available online on www.goffs.com from tomorrow morning.
