Charlie Fellowes heads to Maisons-Laffitte in search of the biggest win of his career with Moonlit Show on Friday.
The filly has already provided him with a first stakes success when she made all the running in the Listed Blenheim Stakes at Fairyhouse just over a fortnight ago and now she steps up to Group Two class.
Despite her relatively clear-cut victory in Ireland, Fellowes has reached for a pair of cheekpieces to make sure she has her mind completely on the job.
"Her victory in Ireland was a big deal for us," said Fellowes.
"She's in good form and has definitely come on for it. I've just put a pair of cheekpieces on, though.
"I just felt in the last half a furlong she was idling and pricking her ears. There's good and bad points to that.
"It's good because it tells me she had a fair bit left in the locker, but it's bad because if anything is close enough to take advantage if she does it again, she'll be caught out.
"It was still a good performance and Billy Lee keeps the ride.
"He was really excellent on her, judged it perfectly and I'd rather go over there with someone who knows her as she's better for knowing."
She will be joined by Richard Hannon's Nations Alexander, winner of the Sweet Solera, Brian Meehan's Stop The Wages and Hugo Palmer's Koropick but Bryan Smart's Delectation is a non-runner.
