Quest For More is set to take his chance in the Qipco British Champions Long Distance Cup at Ascot on Saturday.
Trainer Roger Charlton has pronounced his admirable stayer an "intended runner" in the Group Two over two miles.
The Beckhampton handler is keen to sign off his Prix de Cadran winner for the season in Berkshire and at this stage is not too concerned about the ground conditions.
"He's an intended runner," said Charlton.
"We'll see about the ground, but it's his last race of the year, so he'll probably run.
"He's in very good form."
