About the Role
This is a hands-on position where you'll learn the full print process — from preparing artwork files right through to finishing and dispatch. You'll work in our modern print room alongside experienced print professionals, getting real exposure to commercial printing presses, finishing equipment and print workflow systems from day one.
No two days are the same. You'll develop technical know-how, a solid understanding of quality standards, and genuine industry knowledge — all while supporting a busy, fast-moving production team. On completion, you'll hold an industry-recognised qualification.
No experience needed — just a keen eye for detail, the willingness to get stuck in, and the drive to learn.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate digital print equipment including large format printers and presses
• Prepare customer artwork for production on commercial printing equipment
• Load materials and consumables into machines
• Monitor print jobs for quality and accuracy
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and cleaning
• Assist with finishing: cutting, laminating, binding, and packaging
• Support mailing processes
• Conduct quality checks against company and client standards
• Support stock control and maintain an organised workspace
• Assist with packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Work collaboratively with production and design teams
What We're Looking For
• Interest in print, design, or production environments
• Basic computer skills; any exposure to Adobe InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop is a bonus but not required.
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work well both in a team and independently
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to follow instructions and take feedback constructively
