Stallion Book Snippets: The Group 3-placed son of Kendor spent his first few seasons covering more or less only those mares belonging to his owner Guy Pariente but he delivered eye-catching strike-rates and several stakes horses with his early runners to grab the attention of Europe’s top breeders.

Ten crops of racing age later, his best performers include Skalleti, runner-up in the Champion Stakes in 2020, and further Group 1 place-getters Goken,  Jimmy Two Times, Kendam, Kenhope, Notte Bianca and Restiadargent.

Kendargent started to make his presence felt in the second generation in 2020, with son and Haras de Colleville studmate Goken supplying Group 3 winners Go Athletico and Livachope in his first crop.

He has also emerged as a broodmare sire of some consequence, with his daughters having produced Prix Jean-Luc Lagardere winner Sealiway - from the second crop of Galiway, another Colleville colleague - and Group 3-winning sprinter Brad The Brief.

Kendargent will stand at Haras de Colleville at a fee of €10,000 in 2021.
