Richard Johnson was stood down from duty after he was unseated from a horse at Taunton.

The champion jockey fell from Mahlervous at the fourth flight in an extended two-mile handicap hurdle and received a blow to a knee.

Taunton clerk of the course Jason Loosemore said: "He was down for a while, but was attended to at the site and got up. He was uncomfortable, but as far as I know he went home and walked out of the racecourse."
