A strong line-up of NH Foals and initial Point-to-Point entries headline an attractive catalogue for the UK’s premier winter NH Sale, the 2019 Goffs UK January Sale at Doncaster, which will be held on 22 – 23 January.

The sale has made huge progress in recent years, with the Foal average growing 42% since 2015 to new records last year, while on the track it has produced high-class graduates including the likes of the Gr.1 Irish Gold Cup winner EDWULF, Gr.1 winner SAM SPINNER (pictured) and Gr.2 winner MIDNIGHT SHADOW. Day one of the sale will offer 119 NH Foals followed by a session of NH Mares with day two offering Horses-in-Training and Point-to-Pointers, the latter in a dedicated session.

Goffs UK Managing Director Tony Williams commented:

“The January Sale has taken big steps forward in recent years and is developing into a headline sale on the Goffs UK calendar. The foal session has been growing every year and we have some high-class pedigrees in the sale once again this year along with some cracking individuals.

“The Point-to-Point session is growing in stature and we have already catalogued some high-class horses which will be offered in the dedicated session. More Pointers  and Form Horses will be supplemented into the catalogue in the build up to the sale which will be complemented on the second day by 111 Horses-in-Training from the leading owners and trainers.”
